VITRA USA'S DUAL-FLUSH TOILETS

VITRA USA'S DUAL-FLUSH TOILETS Natural Quartz Surfaces VITRA USA'S DUAL-FLUSH TOILETS VitrA's Dual-Flush Technology features two separate flush volumes, with choices of 0.8 gallons per flush (gpf) or 1.6 gpf. Used properly, these choices can save up to 15,000 gallons of water annually in a typical household. VitrA's Dual Flush toilets are made of a special material that prevents calcium buildup, and the toilets come with noise-reducing, hydraulic, double-action devices built right into fill valves to ensure immediate water shutoff, the company claims. The toilet can completely discharge in 3.5 seconds and refill in about 25 seconds. VitrA also offers a 1.0-gpf toilet system, which it claims can save 38% more water than standard 1.6-gpf units. The 1.0-gpf Pressure Assist toilets use a specialized mechanism that provides added force to water during flushing, which can decrease water consumption. The system's forced flow rate improves drain-line carry performance, says VitrA. Moreover, the high performance of the system lowers static ooeratina pressure.
